Meaning of some words (in this context):
aNdar = dhEvAs ; prayAci = sorrowful sIthA ;
an^n^AL = one/that day; n^inaiththu = thinking
of sIthA ; n^illadA = stop, buster! Eci = scolding;
cArumpozhudhu = about to do ; vAci = ideal time ;
idar = usually hindrance, also sorrow (thunbam).

[vEdhavathi=another name for sIthA, as per a legend;
aravin^dha vEdhA=Lotus God, could also refer to
Goddess Lakshmi.  The words are not clear to me here.
I have just guessed from the context.  Somebody with
the book can correct any mistakes.]

Pale as a lustreless vArIcam in winter's darkness;
[vArIcam=some precious stone??]
In sorrow, spending each day as a yuga [eon] ;
In disgust, stopping a lustful rAvaNA with harsh words.
As the Great Queen decided to take her own life,
It was high time she saw me;[HanumAn is hiding upto
this point.]

my sorrow [sorrow at her plight],
Appearing before her uttering rAmA rAmA rAmA rAmA

 In kambarAmAyaNam, on which rAman^Atakam is
based, Hanuman starts off excitedly (kaNdanen
kaRpinukku aNiyai, kaNgaLAl) and only slowly (over
as many as 25 poems) does he describe her plight.
In rAman^Atakam, all this is succintly captured in
this one verse, making bAgeshri apt. TNSeshagopalan
has used Vasantha for the kamban verse "kaNdenen
kaRpinukku aNiyai".  Perhaps his comment about
Vasantha was in this context.
